Julia Eisenberg, Ph.D.

Dr. Julia Eisenberg is an Associate Professor at Pace University’s Lubin School of Business - Management and Management Science Department. Her research interests include processes and technology that influence collaboration among individuals and teams with a focus on distributed knowledge-intensive organizational context. She is currently working on multiple research projects that range from the study of the effects of boundary-spanning brokerage behaviors on team performance and innovation to the effects of artificial intelligence in facilitating the work of global teams, as well as the challenge of managing worker perceptions in global offshoring projects. She utilizes both qualitative and quantitative field-based research methods.

Dr. Eisenberg regularly attends domestic and international conferences to present her research and stay abreast the latest developments to inform her interdisciplinary work. She actively publishes and serves as a reviewer for a number of leading management journals, including the Journal of International Management, Small Group Research, and Human Resource Management Review.

Since joining the Lubin School of Business in 2014, Dr. Eisenberg has taught a range of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral courses, such as Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, Research Projects, and Negotiations, among others.

Prior to joining academia, Dr. Eisenberg spent over 10 years in the financial industry, having worked for Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan Private Bank, and Morgan Stanley as a product developer and manager in the technology and finance divisions.
